“Because Parent Matters”
Option 4 Change recently launched a new project specifically for parents living in and around South London called the South London Parent Forum.
The South London Parent Forum engages with parents from multicultural backgrounds to:
* Debate and discuss parenting issues
* Share ideas and solutions to parenting challenges
* Engage in workshops and presentations on matters of education, youth lifestyles and culture
* Peer mentor other parents
* Deal with legislation isssues impacting on parents rights to ensure that every parent matters
* Participate in trips, events and other social activities
The Forum meetings are held the First Tuesday evenings 5.30pm-7pm of each month.
